A bra can look beautiful but still be the wrong fit. If your bra constantly needs adjusting or feels uncomfortable throughout the day, it may be time to reconsider your size or style.
1. The Band Rides Up
Your bra band should sit comfortably and relatively level around your body. If it repeatedly rides up your back, the band may be too loose or the bra may not be providing the support you need.
2. The Cups Spill Over
If your bust is spilling over the top or sides of the cups, the cup size or shape may not be suitable for you. A properly fitting cup should provide comfortable coverage without creating pressure.
3. There Are Gaps in the Cups
Visible gaps, wrinkles or empty space can indicate that the cup is too large or that the bra shape doesn’t work well with your natural bust shape.
4. The Straps Keep Falling
Occasional strap adjustment is normal, but constantly slipping straps can indicate an incorrect fit. Your straps should provide additional support without digging into your shoulders.
5. You Feel Uncomfortable
This is perhaps the most important sign. If your bra pinches, digs into your skin, feels restrictive or makes you want to take it off as soon as possible, something isn’t right.
A good bra should support you while allowing you to move naturally. Don’t focus only on the size printed on the label. Focus on how the entire bra fits your body.
Comfort is not a luxury. It’s the foundation of a great fit.
